A Global Footprint Network elnevezésű nemzetközi szervezetet 2003-ban alapították, ökológiai lábnyom számítással foglalkozó tekintélyes kutatókból és tudománypolitikai tanácsadókból álló
amerikai testület.

A Global Footprint Network tagság számos előnyt és lehetőséget nyújt partnereinek. Egyrészt lehetővé teszi a világ vezető fenntarthatósággal foglalkozó tudósaival való együttműködést, másrészt hozzáférést biztosít a legújabb ökológiai lábnyom számítási módszerekhez.

Civiljutub - a civil videómegosztásért

The Innovation for Sustainable Development Association (founded in 2009) was registered in 2010 by the Győr - Moson -Sopron County Court.
It does its public activities in Hungary, mostly in the Western Transdanubian region, and in the area of the European Community.

The goals of the Association are to survey, research and strengthen the environmental and social responsibility accordance to the European standards, and the closely related education and vocational training, which may be within or outside the company, with a particular view on the environmentally conscious corporate governance and the compliance of the corporate responsibility’s requirements. The activities of the Association promote the generalisation of the corporate responsibility through the domestication of the non-financial reports culture, as well as supporting the spread of the best products and services. The Association involves the students into the sustainability researches, carries out the strengthening of the relationship between economic agents and higher education institutions, and the transmission of scientific results into higher education. Through the teaching of money and capital market knowledge and the assessment of their appearance opportunities, the goal of the Association is the domestication of the responsible investment culture, as well as improving the communication of the company related CSR. For the above, we cooperate with business, government, social and other organisations.

Activities in the public interest

With the lead of our academic rated co-workers we carry out sociological basic and applied researches in the area of economics, including mostly the environment economics, sustainability, and communication, PR and marketing, in accordance with the regulations of the Frascati manual. Our activities are expanded on the area of corporate finance and management.

In 2010 the CG&Partners Researcher and Advisory Ltd. cooperated in the calculation of Győr’s ecological footprint, Which was accompanied with a wide press coverage. The result was published in nearly 50 medium, including the late News of the Hungaryan Television, the live radio telephone interview of the Klub Radio and the Lánchíd Radio, and the well known hungarian environmental protective webpages. Using the result of the calculation we computed the Happy Planet Index of the civilians of Győr in 2011. Our volunteers lecture in order to popularize the environmental protection and the ecological footprint. In summer 2011 we suported a children camp in Dénesfa, where we lectured for the kids about the food-kilometers, the advers effects of littering and the ecological footprint.

Global Footprint Network is an international think tank working to advance sustainability through use of the Ecological Footprint, a resource accounting tool that measures how much nature they have, how much they use and who uses what. By making ecological limits central to decision-making, they are working to end overshoot and create a society where all people can live well, within the means of one planet.

The Global Compact was founded by Kofi Annan (United Nations Secretary-General) in 1999, encouraging the companies, to be strategic partners of local governments, NGOs and local communities in environmental and social objectives. The initiative started in 2005 in Hungary as well. The Global Compact’s goals are to make businesses and employers the part of resolving the social challenges, with socially responsible behaviour. Thus, the business community can help the governments and social partners with coordinated resources, in order to achieve common goals.
